Twin Disc use RomaxDesigner for Heavy Duty Transmission Design

At Twin Disc, we incorporated the first seat of RomaxDesigner in North America in 1997 because we found it to be a simulation tool that was very easy to learn and to use. After not having used it for a few months, it was still easy to use because the workflow is logical. For Twin Disc, It provides accurate bearing life and shaft deflections and stresses, plus it makes modeling shaft a snap. For heavy-duty multi-speeds off-highway powershift transmission designs, bearing life calculation can be done quickly for many duty cycles for both ISO 281 life and adjusted ISO 281 life.
