• The Team Leader will contribute to strategic/business planning for the Consultancy Team
• Signing off scope, objectives and budget for consultancy proposals before they are provided to the client
• Assisting to increase the size of the consulting business (e.g. making presentations to potential clients, attending client meetings, etc.)

The sucessful applicant will have a minimum of 2-5 years experience in the engineering industry as well as holding a Degree in mechanical engineering (or similar) as well as have:

• Strong interest and career history in engineering analysis.
• Experience in modelling and analysis of gears, bearings and drivetrains would be a great advantage
• Experienced in managing and delivering engineering and/or analytical projects
• Very good knowledge of engineering analysis methods
• Calculations using engineering standards
• Understanding of fatigue, life prediction and material failure types
• Experience in finite element analysis
• Able to work very well under pressure
• Strong communication skills including giving presentations, writing engineering or scientific reports, leading client meetings and running internal project meetings
• Excellent leadership skills
• Negotiation skills
• Planning and organisational skills
