The Sync series is designed specially for geared systems with applications in diagnostics, prototype testing, and end-of-line quality inspection. A simple user interface provides accessibility for both specialists and non-specialists. Noise and vibration contributions from individual gears can be quickly identified through integrated synchronous averaging functions, allowing the quick identification of problem areas. A fully automated measurement process with the ability to set testbased acceptability criteria provides a simple ’go/no-go’ indicator for sorting unacceptable samples. Sync-M, Sync-A and Sync-G are optimised for multiple shaft parallel axis gears, planetary gear systems and single gear pairs respectively. Sync-OT offers order tracking capabilities with additional options available for test data management including web based features.
For maximum versatility, the high quality data acquisition hardware for both the SVA and Sync series is available in several configurations, including rack-mounted, a rugged portable unit and a convenient notebook style. Up to eight channels can be sampled simultaneously. Measurement control interfaces allow the Signallink hardware to communicate directly with test cell equipment in order to automate much of the test process.
