Romax Technology launches RomaxWIND

We are pleased to announce that our latest RomaxDesigner software package release R12.6, will be available from the 1st April 2008. The new edition includes a completely new wind turbine specific product line called RomaxWIND and number of additional features within the RomaxDurability and Romax Bearing product ranges.

China Classification Society purchases Romax software to enhance its certification capabilities for wind energy products
The Chinese Classification Society (CCS) recently purchased two sets of world leading analysis software for wind turbine systems: Bladed for Windows from Garrad Hassan and Partners Limited, and RomaxDesigner from Romax Technology, UK.

CCS Seminar, December 2007, Beijing
Romax recently presented a two day seminar at the headquarters of the China Certification Society (CCS) in Beijing. The event was organised by CCS who invited Romax to share its knowledge and expertise on the technical issues currently facing the wind energy industry with an invited audience of China’s leading turbine manufacturers and wind developers.

Dalian Huarui and Romax to jointly develop 3MW wind turbine gearboxes
Dalian Huarui, a gearbox manufacturer, has signed a contract with Romax Technology to jointly develop 3MW wind turbine gearboxes. They will be used in the new 3MW offshore and onshore wind turbines currently being developed by Sinovel Wind.
