Huge Success at One-day UK Technical Seminar
Romax Technology recently held a one-day technical seminar on 26 February 2008 at our Nottingham Headquarters which was a huge success.
The seminar featured keynote presentations from Antonov Automotive Technologies and Intec Dynamics. Key companies from the automotive, off-highway and wind industries attended such as: Ford Motor Company, Prodrive, E.ON Uk, Aston Martin, Lotus, JCB Transmissions, Case New Holland, Turner Powertrain Systems, Hewland Engineering and Tata Motors European Technical Centre.
Romax also gave presentations on key topics including:
RomaxDesigner for transmission and driveline design, durability & reliability - the benefits to the user
Duty cycles / road load data / dynamic factors - understanding how dynamic loading is used in the design process
RomaxDesigner for NVH - diagnosis and noise reduction
RomaxDesigner interfaces to industry standard tools e.g. new advanced bearing models in SIMPACK give unrivalled capability to MBD systems
Romax technical developments and roadmap for the future
Case studies from Ford Motor Company and Torotrak (Development) Ltd
The seminar provided great networking opportunities for all companies involved and also an opportunity to see the key features of RomaxDesigner R12.6 our upcoming new software release. Delegates also received an overview of the RomaxNVH software package, its applications and key features which were well received.
Due to the success of this first technical seminar and the excellent feedback received, Romax will be holding further technical seminars at various locations in the future.
