| Romax believes that cooperation with partners is a crucial part of providing our clients with the most complete range of solutions possible. Working together, Romax and its partners can overcome obstacles and challenge each other to realise new levels of user benefits.
Romax's proven history in transmissions engineering and software development make it the ideal partner for other industry leaders with similar goals of advancing, improving and always remaining one step ahead of the competition.
Our Partners
GIF GmbH (www.gif.net) is the world's number one independent supplier of powertrain and transmission testing.
An agreement between Romax and GIF mbH will provide manufacturers worldwide with an integrated solution for the design, development and testing of complete transmission projects. With our combined resources, we are able to handle ever larger and more complex projects.
AISIN AW (www.aisin-aw.co.jp) is the the world's number one manufacturer of automatic transmissions.
A technology agreement between Romax and AISIN AW covers the supply of simulation tools and analytical services for the prediction of NVH characteristics within automatic transmissions. In accordance with the agreement, Romax will work closely with AISIN AW to further develop simulation tools to their requirements."Our vision for NVH at Romax is to enable complex simulation studies to be carried out early in the design stages rather than being restricted to a downstream activity after the design is frozen. We believe that technologies developed in conjunction with AISIN AW will enable this to happen in the future," said Younsu Park, Director of Asia Business in Romax Technology Ltd.
"AISIN AW engineers are very pleased to be using such advanced and convenient software from Romax Technology. This agreement will help the further development of simulation tools that will enable AISIN AW to design out many kinds of NVH matters at an early development phase," said AISIN AW NVH Manager.

ANSYS Inc. (www.ansys.com) designs, develops, markets and globally supports engineering simulation solutions used to predict how product designs will behave in manufacturing and real-world environments.
The solution partnership with ANSYS is for the development of FEA integration into the Romax software platforms and the application of ANSYS products into the transmissions virtual product development environment.
SIMPACK, originally developed by DLR, the German Aerospace Center, has become the world leading multibody simulation software tool for simulating commercial road vehicles (e.g. DAF, DaimlerChrysler, MAN, Mitsubishi Fuso, Nissan Diesel, etc) and railway vehicles (Alstom, Bombardier, Siemens, etc), and is now gaining ground at an ever increasing speed in such demanding areas as engine simulation, wind turbine analysis and HIL/SIL applications. SIMPACK’s ability to simulate high frequency vibration and harsh shock contact, in both the frequency and time domain, has made SIMPACK the number one choice for not only drivetrain and comfort analyses but also for fatigue studies. SIMPACK’s flexibility and excellent connectivity to various CAD, control, hydraulic and FE software enables SIMPACK to be easily integrated into a company’s already established design and development processes.
INTEC GmbH, the developer’s of SIMPACK, has now teamed up with Romax Technology Limited to combine the strengths of a general all-purpose multi-body software with the intensity and depth of a specific software tool. SIMPACK’s versatility and powerful solver together with Romax’s expertise in the quasi-static analysis of geartrains brings new potential and insight into not only the dynamic analysis of drivetrains but also into the design and research of entire coupled systems.
