| 2nd North American User Conference, 2 and 3 October, Detroit, MI, USA
On 2 and 3 October 2008 we held our 2nd North American User Conference on in Troy, Michigan. The conference theme was "Complete Geartrain Solutions for Today's Competitive Marketplace."
Engineers from the automotive, wind, bearings and aerospace industries attended to hear presentations from guest speakers including Caterpillar, Ford and GM Powertrain. The two-day conference also featured many presentations from Romax experts on advanced concepts including technical development in the US, RomaxWind, advanced dynamics applications and gear rattle and the ANSol, WindowsLDP and HGSim interfaces.
In addition, a series of roundtable discussions were held on the second day which facilitated open dialogue about real issues and workable solutions. They also gave the delegates a unique chance to discuss these in depth with Romax experts.
